Nathan designed SightAware after realizing no baby monitor on the market could track skin temperature contactlessly. He brings over 15 years of enterprise technology experience from Salesforce, ServiceNow, and Blackbaud, and holds an MBA from the University of South Carolina. Nathan is a father of two and the product's first real-world user.
On the origin
When our son was six months old, he woke us up crying in the middle of the night. By the time we got to his room, it was obvious something was wrong. He was clearly unwell. I looked back at the monitor and all it could tell me was the room temperature. I kept thinking: how long had his skin temperature been rising while we slept? That was the moment I realized the market needed more awareness, not another camera.
