Make sure both units are powered on. Confirm the monitor and camera are within 3–6 feet of each other during pairing. On the monitor, open the settings menu and select + “Add Camera.” Press and hold the Pair button on the camera for up to 6 seconds until the blue indicator light blinks. The monitor will automatically detect and connect to the camera within 30 seconds. Once connected, you’ll see a live video feed. If the devices still won’t pair: Unplug both units for 10 seconds, then power them back on. Make sure there are no major obstructions (like concrete walls or large metal objects) between the devices. If pairing still fails, perform a factory reset (hold the Pair button for 10 seconds) and try again.
Yes — small temperature changes throughout the night are completely normal. Your baby’s skin temperature naturally shifts with sleep cycles, movement, and room conditions. Nonnanest continuously adjusts readings in real time using its infrared sensor, so you may see minor variations (typically ±1 °F). The most accurate skin temperature readings occur when your baby is lying on their back with a clear view of their head and forehead. As babies grow and begin to roll or sleep on their stomachs, readings may fluctuate more as the sensor’s view changes or becomes partially blocked by blankets or clothing. It’s also common for babies’ skin temperature to vary during sleep due to normal physiology. According to Boston Children’s Hospital and the American Academy of Pediatrics (HealthyChildren.org), an infant’s body temperature naturally rises and falls throughout the day and night, often varying by about 1 °F (0.5 °C) within a normal range.
