At 3 AM, my son Reed's cry jolted us awake. Our baby monitor confirmed he was distressed—but that's all it could tell us. When we reached his nursery, he was burning up. 103°F. How long had his temperature been climbing while we slept?

 

That helpless feeling stayed with me. Why couldn't a baby monitor provide insights into my child's temperature—without wearables, without waking him? I spent months researching, consulting with pediatricians and engineers.

 

In 2024, I founded Nonnanest to build what I wished had existed. Technology that gives parents peace of mind without compromising privacy or strapping sensors to sleeping babies.
