 Quick Start Guide: Nonnanest Baby Monitor

Your baby’s comfort and safety are our top priority. Nonnanest sets up in under 5 minutes — no WiFi, no apps, just peace of mind.

Mount the Camera Above the Crib

  • Use the included screws to mount the camera securely on the wall, at least 3 feet (1 meter) directly above the crib. To ensure the most accurate skin temperature sensing, keep the camera within 3.5 feet (1.1 meters) of the crib.
    Why? This position ensures accurate temperature monitoring and a full view of your baby.

💡 Tip: A wall-mounted view gives the clearest, uninterrupted picture.

 

 

Power On Both Devices

  • Plug in the camera and the handheld monitor using the included power adapters.

  • The camera powers on automatically.

  • Hold the monitor’s Power button for 3 seconds to turn it on.

📶 Pull out the monitor’s antenna for stronger signal reception.

 

 

Automatic Pairing (It Just Works)

  • Your monitor and camera will pair automatically within moments.

  • If they don’t, press the Menu (OK/M) button on the monitor, select Camera, and follow the on-screen steps.

Adjust the View and Settings

  • Use the PTZ and arrow keys to pan, tilt, or zoom the camera until your baby is fully in frame.

  • Adjust brightness, volume, and screen preferences using the monitor buttons.

🌙 Night Vision turns on automatically in the dark.

 

 

You're All Set — Start Monitoring

  • Keep the monitor nearby so you can hear and see your baby clearly.

  • Use features like Two-Way Talk, Lullabies, and Temperature Alerts for added reassurance.

🔧 Camera Placement Tips (Safety First)

  • Mount Above the Crib: Use the included screws to secure the camera on a wall at least 3 feet (1 meter) directly above your baby.

  • Or Use a Stand: Nonnanest includes a universal female screw hole — compatible with most baby monitor stands or flexible crib mounts.

  • Avoid Heat Sources: Never place the crib or camera directly near a heating or cooling vent. Sudden temperature changes can affect readings and your baby’s comfort.

  • Secure All Cords: Always keep power cords safely out of baby’s reach and never inside the crib. Use cord clips or covers as needed.
