1. Choose Your Mounting Option

 

Option A: Wall Mount (Recommended as Baby Grows)

 

Use the included screws to mount the camera at least 3 feet (1 meter) directly above the crib.
Keep the camera within 3–3.5 feet (1.1 meters) of your baby for the most accurate skin-temperature sensing.

Why choose the wall mount?
Once your baby can sit up or stand, the wall mount becomes the safest option — keeping the camera out of reach and ensuring secure, stable monitoring.

💡 Best for: All ages, strongly recommended once baby becomes mobile.

 

Option B: Flexible Gooseneck Arm (For Non-Mobile Babies)

 

Wrap the adjustable gooseneck securely around the crib rail and position the camera directly above the sleep area.

Important Safety Note:
Use the gooseneck only while your baby cannot yet sit up, pull up, or stand.
After that, switch to the wall mount to keep the camera safely out of reach.

💡 Best for: Newborn to pre-sitting stage.

 

2. Power On Your Devices

• Plug in the camera and monitor using the included adapters.

• The camera powers on automatically.

• Press and hold the Power button on the monitor for 3 seconds to turn it on.

• Pull out the monitor antenna for a stronger signal.

 

3. Allow the Camera to Acclimate (Important)

To ensure accurate skin-temperature variation readings, the camera’s infrared sensor must adjust to the room environment.

 

When first setting up — or anytime you move the camera:
Let the camera run for 30–60 minutes in its final mounted position.

 

This allows the sensor to balance with:

• Room temperature

• Airflow

• The camera’s own internal heat

 

After acclimation, readings stabilize for accuracy.

⏱️ This only needs to be done at first setup or relocation.

 

4. Automatic Pairing (It Just Works)

Your monitor and camera will pair automatically within moments.

If not:

1. Press Menu (OK/M)

2. Select Camera

3. Follow the on-screen instructions

5. Adjust Your View

Use the PTZ controls on the monitor to pan, tilt, and zoom until the sleep area is fully centered.

• Adjust volume, brightness, and screen settings as needed

• Night Vision turns on automatically in low light

💡 A clear overhead angle gives the best monitoring and temperature accuracy.

 

6. Set Temperature Units & Alerts

To change °F or °C:

1. Press Menu

2. Select Temperature Settings

3. Choose Unit

4. Press OK to save

To set a High Temperature Alert:

1. Press Menu → Temperature Alerts

2. Select High Temp Alert

3. Use arrows to adjust the alert threshold

4. Press OK to activate

🔔 Alerts notify you of meaningful upward temperature changes — not diagnose fever.

 

7. You’re All Set — Start Monitoring

Keep the monitor nearby to hear and see your baby clearly.
Use Two-Way Talk, Lullabies, and Temperature Alerts for extra reassurance.

 

Safety Tips (Read First)

• Keep all cords far out of reach — never in or near the crib.

• Avoid placing the camera near vents, heaters, or direct sunlight.

• Ensure the mount is fully secure and stable at all times.

• Switch from gooseneck → wall mount once your baby can sit or stand.
