Both mounting options are included. Pick the one that fits your nursery now — you can always switch later as your baby grows.
Connect the power cable to the camera and plug the adaptor into a wall outlet. Route the cable safely out of baby's reach. The camera's status light will turn on briefly, then go dark — by design, there are no visible LEDs during use.
Press and hold the power button on top of the handheld display. It will power on and automatically begin searching for your camera. The camera and display pair automatically over FHSS — no WiFi, no app, no configuration needed.
Once paired, you'll see a live video feed with temperature readings along the top. Here's what you're looking at:

For accurate skin temperature readings, set the distance to match how far the camera is from the crib mattress. Go to the settings menu on the display and select the range closest to your actual measured distance.

Use the buttons on the right side of the display to adjust your preferences. You can set volume levels, choose from built-in lullabies, enable two-way audio, and configure sound-activated screen wake so the display turns on when your baby stirs.
